Julian Wilkins is Editorial Director for Blue Pencil Media Limited. Julian has a LLB (Hons) in law and M.Phil in law as well as a Diploma in European law and was admitted as a solicitor in 1988; he practices in the area of media, entertainment, and intellectual property law as a consultant for Devereaux Solicitors in London. Julian is also a Notary Public and CEDR accredited commercial mediator. Julian has written for academic publications and contributed to an Exhibition Catalogue about 1960s photographer Philip Townsend. Julian is a member of the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers and also the British Institute of International and Comparative law. Julian is a finalist in The Media Lunch Club “Short Circuit” script competition to be held in November 2011. Stuart Wilkins is Commercial Director for Blue Pencil Media. Stuart has nearly 30 years in the banking industry and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He was a senior executive with a major UK bank where he specialised in global risk management in their international private banking operation. In the course of his career he has built up an extensive knowledge and experience across a wide range of disciplines in the UK and Internationally, and is now bringing this to bear in the development of BluePencilSet for the benefit of its clients. Stuart comments ‘It is said that everyone should have a second career. When you look at the creative industries so much is about making a difference - bringing joy and pleasure to lives. This is my second career, a life changing opportunity’. He is married, to Karen, with a daughter, Sara, who is pursuing a career in the performing arts. They live in Switzerland.
